Traffic Designer — Vacancy Open

This role supports Australian projects through flexible remote collaboration and professional project delivery.

Open position

Traffic Designer

Support Australian traffic design projects in English, preparing coordinated road, intersection, parking and vehicle movement documentation for international clients.

RemoteRemote / home-based1–5 years experienceBachelor’s degree or above in transport engineering, architecture, structural engineering or a related discipline

What you will do

  • Prepare road, intersection and car park design drawings to applicable Australian project requirements using English-language AutoCAD.
  • Produce traffic linework, AutoTURN swept path analysis, signage and line marking drawings, and traffic signal design documentation as required by project scope.
  • Contribute to traffic planning advice, feasibility studies, reports and clear responses to client design queries.
  • Prepare temporary traffic control plans and support coordination during relevant construction stages.
  • Maintain organised project records, technical files, revisions and delivery documentation.
  • Work remotely across flexible project tasks, staged programmes and agreed delivery deadlines.

What you will bring

  • Strong spoken and written English, including the ability to communicate with international clients and interpret English-language standards and feedback.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in transport engineering, architecture, structural engineering or a related field.
  • Practical experience with English-language AutoCAD and construction or technical drawing production.
  • Ability to review traffic, architectural and multidisciplinary drawings and coordinate technical inputs.
  • Clear communication, strong learning ability, attention to detail and a high level of responsibility.
